Tuck & Niko met long ago on the Transgender Internet and bonded over a shared interest of GarfieldEats and frequent name changes. In 2023, they collaborated on 2 Trans 2 Furious, a silly little zine concept that grew into a Lambda Literary Award-winning anthology, which in turn led to the creation of Girl Dad Press.
As a trans-run press with punk rock sensibilities, Girl Dad celebrates queer writers, artists, and freaks of all kinds. We seek to create a home for pop culture riffs, highly specific shitposts, new trans narratives, and commitments to the bit. You don’t have to be gay to read our work — but it helps.
